In this incredible catch, we see the iconic Mount Fuji in Japan from space. The photo was taken by an astronaut aboard the International Space Station on May 27, 2010 using a camera Kodak DCS460 Electronic with a lens of 800 mm. Mount Fuji, located on the island of Honshu, is the highest mountain Japan to 3,776.24 m. An active volcano that last erupted in 1707-08, Mount Fuji lies about 100 kilometers southwest of Tokyo, and can be seen from there on a clear day. Mount Fuji, which has an exceptionally symmetrical cone shaped, it is covered by snow for several months a year.
